Monitoring & maintenance

Find problems before your customers do.

We monitor the servers, applications and automations your business runs on, keep them updated, and respond when something needs attention, so failures are caught early instead of reported by a client.

Project

Already running in production.

Client project · Education & training · client name kept confidential

Migrated from Zapier to n8n

230+ production workflows, monitored so nothing fails silently.

Problem
With hundreds of workflows running, failures could go unnoticed for days, and part of the estate was still on Zapier.
What we built
A Zapier-to-n8n migration plus monitoring: error digests, silent-workflow and broken-credential alerts, data-quality checks and fallbacks.
The hard part
Migrating live flows without downtime and detecting failures that don't throw errors, such as a workflow that never runs.
Result
230+ active workflows that report their own failures, so the team can trust them without watching.
Safeguards
Credential health monitored; broken or expired credentials raise an alert. Silent failures detected, not just errors. Critical messages have a fallback path.

Signs you need monitoring

  • You hear about outages from customers.
  • An automation stopped running and nobody noticed for days.
  • Updates are postponed because nobody owns them.
  • Backups exist, but nobody has tested a restore.
A developer working across two monitors

Watched for you

Someone keeps an eye on it, so you don't have to.

Alerts go to people who can act on them, with enough context to fix the problem before your customers notice.

What we cover

  • Infrastructure & application monitoring

Uptime, performance, resources and errors across servers, databases and applications, with alerts that include context.

  • Automation monitoring

n8n, Make and Zapier workflows watched for failures and stalls, with replay where possible.

  • Updates & patching

Operating systems, dependencies and self-hosted tools kept current on a planned schedule.

  • Backups & recovery

Backups configured, monitored and periodically test-restored.

Maintenance is security

Most incidents exploit something that should have been patched or noticed.

  • Patching on a defined schedule, with emergency updates when needed.
  • Alerts on suspicious changes, expiring certificates and failed logins.
  • Access reviewed so former staff and old keys don't linger.

What our automations look like.

Screens from real builds: the workflow, what your customers receive, what your team sees, and what happens when something breaks.

Questions we get asked

What do you monitor?
Servers, databases, web applications, APIs, certificates, backups and automation platforms, depending on what your business relies on. We agree the checks and alert thresholds with you.
Do you provide 24/7 support?
Monitoring runs continuously and alerts automatically. Response times depend on the support plan; we agree them in writing so expectations are clear.
Can you monitor systems you didn't build?
Yes. We start with a short review of what exists, then set up monitoring and fix the most urgent gaps first.

Know your systems are healthy without checking them.

Tell us what your business runs on and we'll suggest what to monitor first.
